Five young people were injured after the wooden planks of a balcony at an aparthotel in Chapadmalal broke. Following the incident, the victims were urgently transferred to a private clinic in Mar del Plata.
The episode took place early Tuesday morning on the wood balcony structure on the first floor of the Geko aparthotel. According to police information, five young people sustained varying degrees of injuries as a result of this incident.
The establishment is located at kilometer 542 on Route 11, on the way to Chapadmalal, in the southern area of Mar del Plata. Unofficially, it has been mentioned that the collapse of the structure occurred due to overcrowding on the balcony, where a group of young people was jumping.
According to witnesses, around 20 young people were at the site jumping before the wooden planks gave way and the incident occurred.
